We are a Christ centered Lutheran church which seeks to in all things point the sinner to Christ Jesus and all that He has done for us in His victory and on the cross and in the grave.

We follow the Divine Liturgy on Sunday mornings. The word liturgy means in Latin, “a public service” which is reflected through the service which focuses on the public work our Lord is doing for us every Sunday through his Holy Word and through His holy meal where He feeds His body and blood for the forgiveness of our sins. He promises in the Gospel of Matthew, “And behold, I am with you always, to the end of the age” as well as, “Come to me, all who labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest.  Take my yoke upon you, and learn from me, for I am gentle and lowly in heart, and you will find rest for your souls.”

Every Sunday we confess our sins and receive Christ’s forgiveness in holy absolution, we recite the words of Scripture, hear the Words of the prophets, Apostles, and Christ Himself, confess the ancient faith, hear the preaching of Christ crucified for us sinners, and we sing along with Simeon, the virgin Mary, Hannah, John the Baptist, the angels, archangels, and with the whole company of heaven the wonderful hymns, canticles, and songs of praise which give glory to Jesus and teach us the truths of His salvation.

All are welcomed here for we are all sinners in need of forgiveness. Christ calls us to deny ourselves, pick up our cross and follow him and this command goes out to everyone. Christ died for all. His forgiveness is for all. His victory over death is for all. He calls all to repent and believe (Mk 1:15). No matter what you background may be, no matter what you life may have been, Christ invites you to come to Him and receive the wonderful gifts He won for you on the cross!

Come and join us!
